Description
The mezcal from Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto (AGP), produced in the leading distillery in the heart of Oaxaca, is a prime example of artisanal excellence and quality. Known as the largest distillery in the region, AGP has made a name for itself by producing mezcal that delights connoisseurs and novices alike.
This mezcal, made from natural agave, is distilled in traditional stone ovens and then matured in wooden barrels. This method gives it a characteristically sweet and slightly smoky flavour. The outstanding brewing process, which uses steam to cook the green agave nectar, is crucial to preserving the authentic agave flavour in its purest form.
