Description
The Wachau, a romantic valley along the Danube between Melk and Krems, lies around 80 kilometres west of Vienna and has been a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site since 2000. Thanks to its unique climate and special soil conditions, the Wachau is famous for its wine and fruit growing. In addition to the characteristic stone terraces, the picturesque landscape is characterised by apricot orchards. All products from the Wachau are homemade in the traditional way.
Markus Wieser’s passion for high-quality whisky gave rise to the single malt WIESky range. The WIESky Pinot Noir matures in oak barrels that previously contained Austrian Pinot Noir wine, giving it its unique flavours and complex, balanced texture.
