The true origins of Volcán de mi Tierra date back over 200,000 years, when the “Tequila” volcano erupted and nourished the soil of the Jalisco region of Mexico. Volcán de mi Tierra, which translates as “Land of the Volcano”, embodies the celebration of origin and heritage by honouring the heritage and deep Mexican roots of the Gallardo family. Volcán de mi Tierra combines 300 years of passion and entrepreneurial spirit, reflecting the rich history and tradition of the Gallardo family.
Volcán De Mi Tierra X.A. tequila is made from 100% blue agave with no additives, which emphasises its purity and quality. This tequila is based on an assemblage of Reposado, Añejo and Extra-Añejo, whereby only the best agaves from the lowlands and highlands of the Jalisco region are selected. The tequila is matured in special Grace barrels made from American oak, which give it its characteristic flavour.
Volcán X.A. is the perfect blend of extra-aged and ultra-aged tequila, giving it an incomparable flavour and exceptional depth.
