Tschermonegg So Rosé Styria 2025 11% ABV 0.75l
£10.31
The Tschermonegg So Rosé Steiermark 2025, 11% ABV, in a 0.75 l bottle, is a fresh and expressive rosé wine from Styria that delights with its elegant fruitiness, lively acidity and excellent drinkability. Produced by the long-established Tschermonegg winery, this characterful Styrian rosé wine is made from 100% Blauer Zweigelt. The vineyards benefit from the higher altitudes of Southern Styria, which, in the 2025 vintage, remained protected from frost damage despite early budbreak and offered optimal conditions for excellent grape quality.
The dry vintage, with its hot summer months, resulted in small, highly concentrated berries with intense aromas and a particularly lively acidity. The grapes were harvested from early September onwards and carefully processed. The wine was matured in stainless steel tanks, where it spent eight months on the fine lees. This extended ageing on the fine lees lends the Tschermonegg So Rosé 2025 additional harmony and elegance. With an alcohol content of 11% vol., this Austrian rosé is light, fresh and well-balanced. The practical screw cap preserves the freshness perfectly. Thanks to its lively style, this Styrian rosé has an ageing potential of up to five years.
Tasting NoteIn the glass, the Tschermonegg So Rosé Steiermark 2025 displays a delicate salmon-pink colour with subtle highlights. On the nose, fresh aromas of strawberries, cranberries and a hint of light-coloured candyfloss unfold. On the palate, this 100% Zweigelt rosé is dry, juicy and harmonious, with notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries and a subtle, restrained spiciness. The lively acidity lends the wine freshness and structure. The finish is delicately spicy, lively and pleasantly long-lasting.
Residual sugar: 2.1 g/l
Acidity: 6.2 g/l
The Tschermonegg So Rosé Styria 2025 pairs excellently with summer salads, antipasti, grilled vegetables or light fish dishes. This Austrian rosé wine is also an excellent match for Mediterranean dishes, poultry or a classic Styrian snack. Whether as an aperitif or a companion for relaxed summer evenings, this Styrian rosé impresses with its freshness and elegant fruitiness. Served at 8–10 °C, this premium Austrian rosé reveals its juicy aromas and lively acidity to the full.
