The Limited Edition Tomintoul 15 Years Old, specially launched in 2006 to receive a unique refinement through a Portwood finish, honours the deep-rooted tradition and craft heritage of Master Distiller Robert Fleming, whose family is the fourth generation of whisky makers.
The single malt selected for this edition, which was distilled in 2006, first underwent a maturation period in ex-bourbon casks, giving it a solid foundation of rich flavours and a smooth texture. In a carefully monitored process, the second maturation phase then took place in the finest port casks, which were specially sourced from Portugal to give the whisky additional complexity and depth.
Only 9,762 bottles of this limited edition were bottled, making it a collector’s item for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
