The blend of selected malt and grain whiskies was first matured in bourbon and new American oak casks before being finished for a further six months in IPA beer casks. This exceptional finish gives the whisky its unmistakable hoppy, fresh notes and an aromatic depth that makes it a special rarity. It was stored in the cool, damp Togouchi tunnels, a former railway tunnel, whose constant climate ideally supports the maturation process and ensures a particularly soft texture.
