The Sexton 11 Years Old is an exclusive, limited bottling of the well-known Irish single malt whiskey, which develops a significantly more complex structure and aromatic depth thanks to an extended maturation period and the targeted use of Oloroso sherry casks. Made from 100% malted barley and triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills, this whiskey is matured for 11 years – exclusively in first-fill European oak casks that were previously filled with Oloroso sherry.
With an alcohol content of 43% vol., this version impresses with its harmony, character and depth – significantly more mature than the well-known NAS classic from The Sexton. The distinctive, hexagonal black bottle remains, but in this edition it stands for a fuller-bodied, more mature and velvety expression of Irish whiskey. An exciting bottling for collectors and connoisseurs of matured single malts with a sherry influence.

Nose: Sherry-soaked wood, dark dried fruit, caramel, orange peel and nuts.
Flavour: Full and round with notes of dates, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted almonds and oak spice.
Finish: Long-lasting, warming and elegant with a fine sweetness and dry sherry flavour.
Best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate the variety of flavours from sherry cask maturation and long storage. The flavour can also be opened up elegantly with a few drops of water. The Sexton 11 Years Old is an excellent culinary accompaniment to strong blue cheese, dark chocolate with orange zest, fig tart or as a stylish digestif after a savoury meal.
