The Glenlivet distillery, founded in 1824, is known as Scotland’s first licensed whisky distillery and has grown over the years to become the largest malt distillery in the country. With an impressive annual production of around 12 million litres of whisky, Glenlivet has gained worldwide recognition.
The Glenlivet 13 Years Old FIRST FILL American Oak France Edition is a special single malt that is matured for at least 13 years in new American white oak casks. These casks, known for their ability to enhance sweet notes, contribute significantly to the character of the whisky. Maturing in these casks gives the whisky a pronounced sweetness that harmoniously complements its complex flavours and makes it an outstanding representative of the Glenlivet distillery.
