Description
Texas Legation Bourbon Whiskey Batch 2 is a characterful Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled at 46.2 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle. This special bottling is the result of a collaboration between the long-established British spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd and the Texan Ironroot Republic Distillery. For Batch 2, only grains grown within a radius of around 60 miles of the distillery are used, with the entire production process – from distillation to maturation – taking place entirely on site in Texas. The whisky is matured in American oak casks, giving it its balanced blend of sweetness, fruitiness and spicy oak. The bottling is non-chill-filtered, contains no colouring and is limited to just 5,000 bottles worldwide. As an unpeated bourbon, it showcases the authentic character of Texan whisky-making.
The Texas Legation Bourbon Whisky Batch 2 combines the classic bourbon style with the unmistakable signature of Texan whisky production. Sweet maize meets honey, vibrant fruit flavours and spicy oak notes, which gain additional intensity thanks to Texas’s warm climate. The collaboration between Berry Bros. & Rudd and Ironroot Republic gives this limited edition a unique identity and makes it an exciting release for connoisseurs of premium American whiskies.
