Tequila Ocho Plata La Mesa Single Estate 40% Vol. 0.5 l comes from one of Mexico’s most renowned tequila series, which is known for its consistent transparency, traditional production and clear emphasis on the respective terroir. Each Tequila Ocho bottling comes from a single estate, using only agave from a specific field. The La Mesa edition is characterised by agaves grown on a selected highland field in Jalisco, whose maturity, soil and climatic conditions significantly shape the character of the distillate.
This Plata is produced using the classic method: the fully ripened blue Weber agaves are gently cooked in a stone oven, then traditionally ground and slowly fermented before being distilled in copper pot stills. The result is an unadulterated, clear agave tequila that clearly reflects both the plant and the terroir. La Mesa Plata is fresh, mineral and purist, with a structure that impressively emphasises the quality of the agave. The smaller bottle size of 0.5 litres also makes this single estate edition an ideal choice for tastings or for connoisseurs who want to compare different fields.
