Made from a traditional single pot still mashbill – a blend of malted and unmalted barley – this Irish whiskey is distilled using traditional methods in copper pot stills and bottled at 50% vol. This second edition of the Wonders of Wood series emphasises Teeling’s commitment to innovation by exploring the influences of rare wood species on Irish whiskey. Portuguese oak is known for its high tannin levels and aromatic intensity, which gives this whiskey an impressive depth. Bottled without chill filtration.
