Description
The Teeling Distillery, one of Ireland’s most traditional whisky distilleries, was founded in Dublin back in 1782. Following extensive modernisation in 2015, the distillery reopened just a few metres from its original location and has since become a real tourist magnet. This popularity is mainly due to the fact that visitors can gain an in-depth insight into the complex whiskey production process.
An outstanding example of the craftsmanship of the Teeling Distillery is the Teeling Irish Whiskey Single Grain Sauvignon Blanc Cask. This whiskey matures for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks and receives its distinctive finish in ex-Sauvignon Blanc casks, which gives it a special depth and complexity. The single grain whiskey is bottled without the addition of colouring agents and without chill filtration, allowing its natural flavours and authentic characteristics to come into their own.
