Teeling Irish Whiskey Dark Porter Small Batch is the result of a creative collaboration with the Dot Brew Brewery in Dublin. Grain and malt whiskey are initially matured separately for up to five years in carefully selected bourbon barrels to develop their full flavours. After this maturation period, the whiskeys are combined in a 4:1 ratio in dark porter beer barrels, where they rest for a further 15 months.
This additional maturation in porter beer barrels gives the whiskey exceptional depth and complexity, which is complemented by the rich, malty notes of the porter. The combination of the sweet bourbon flavours with the dark, strong influences of the porter beer creates a unique taste experience that makes the Teeling Irish Whiskey Dark Porter Small Batch a special choice for lovers of exceptional whiskeys.
