Description
St. Kilian Distillers creates absolute premium whiskies for a global audience. More than 170 different cask types are stored at this distillery and these are the starting point for the Signature Editions.
The Signature Editions from St. Kilian are individually bottled and signed with their own cask signature.
The St. Kilian Signature Edition THIRTEEN single malt whisky is matured in an unusual composition of five different types of wood.
Palatinate oak, Hungarian oak, wild robinia (false acacia), chestnut and cherry are used.
Distillates from 2016, 2018 and 2019, which were produced from Scottish peat-smoked malt at 54 ppm, mature in the five virgin-fresh wooden casks to create a smoky single malt with a strong character.
The Signature Editions are neither coloured nor chill-filtered and are bottled in the iconic St. Kilian pot still bottle.

Tasting NoteColour: Amber.
Nose: Intense fruit, ripe cherries, apricots, creamy vanilla, fine peat smoke, juicy BBQ notes, fine wood flavours, spicy oak.
Flavour: Juicy apricots, red cherries, sweet vanilla cream, warming wood notes, fine spicy oak, white pepper, hints of Ingwerer, peat smoke.
Finish: Langs, creamy and spicy, dark fruit jam, fine tannins, warming peat smoke, hint of dry ash notes, cocoa.
