The Signatory Vintage Glen Garioch 12 Years Old 2013/2025 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt Finish Cask #3 is a rare and expressive single cask bottling from the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Distilled on 11 February 2013 at the traditional Glen Garioch Distillery and bottled on 8 September 2025, this Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured for a total of 12 years. Andrew Symington complemented the basic malty character of Glen Garioch with a targeted finish in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, which gives the whisky dark fruit flavours, spicy depth and a particularly creamy mouthfeel. Bottled independently, this Highlander with a strong character is rarely found and is clearly aimed at connoisseurs of authentic single casks.
The sherry cask finish took place in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask number 3 (part), from which only 396 bottles were produced. This limited edition was bottled at 54.4% vol. in cask strength, non-chill-filtered and uncoloured, thus preserving the cask and distillery character. The combination of the oily, malty Glen Garioch structure and intense Oloroso character impressively emphasises Signatory Vintage’s signature style, which focuses on transparency, cask quality and individuality. This bottling is delivered in a classic gift box, which further emphasises its collector’s value.
