This premium 0.7 l bottle showcases Auchentoshan’s distinctive character combined with intensive sherry cask maturation.
This single malt was distilled in 2013 and matured for 13 years in a carefully selected first-fill Oloroso sherry butt. Maturation in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask lends the whisky a pronounced depth as well as intense notes of fruit, spice and wood. At 50.8% ABV, this Lowland single malt is bottled at a higher strength, thereby preserving its full range of aromas. The combination of Auchentoshan’s characteristic lightness and elegance with the powerful influence of the Oloroso sherry cask creates a complex and harmonious tasting experience.
