Rey Campero Mezcal ESPADÍN 48.4% ABV 0.7 l is an authentic artisanal mezcal from Oaxaca, produced using traditional methods and impressively reflecting the distinctive character of the Espadín agave variety. This mezcal is produced in the small village of Candelaria Yegolé in the state of Oaxaca, the heart of Mexican mezcal culture. The high-quality 0.7 l bottle contains a mezcal made exclusively from carefully selected Espadín agaves, preserving the region’s traditional production methods.
After harvesting, the agaves are processed using time-honoured methods and then fermented in the open air with natural wild yeasts. This open fermentation plays a key role in giving the distillate its complexity and individual character. This is followed by double distillation in traditional copper stills, resulting in an expressive and multi-layered mezcal.
