The Redemption Rye Pre-Prohibition Rye Revival 46% Vol. 0.7 l is a characterful, spicy rye whiskey that takes up the tradition of the pre-Prohibition era and reinterprets it with a modern twist. Inspired by the time when rye whiskey was the dominant spirit in the USA, Redemption Whiskey uses a high rye mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. This gives the whiskey its intense, spicy yet balanced flavour profile, which makes it ideal both for pure enjoyment and for classic cocktails such as Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
The whiskey is matured in new, burnt American white oak barrels, which gives it a distinctive depth. The increased alcohol content of 46% vol. ensures a powerful yet smooth mouthfeel with a long-lasting finish.

Nose: Spicy rye aromas, black peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves, fresh mint, sweet vanilla and a fine woody note.

Finish: Langs and dry, with spicy notes of nutmeg, black pepper, subtle smoke and sweet vanilla.
The Redemption Rye is ideal for drinking straight or with a drop of water to emphasise its complexity. It is ideal for classic Rye cocktails such as the Manhattan or Sazerac Rye. In culinary terms, it goes perfectly with grilled meat, spicy BBQ dishes, matured cheddar or dark chocolate with a high cocoa content.
