The name Proper No. Twelve is a tribute to McGregor’s home district of Dublin 12 and embodies Irish whiskey tradition in a modern guise.
This triple-distilled Irish whiskey is made from a blend of malted and unmalted barley. Distillation is carried out using traditional methods in traditional copper stills before the whiskey is matured in ex-bourbon barrels made from American oak. This maturation ensures a pleasant balance between sweet, fruity and spicy notes.
