The Polz Urbani, a balanced cuvée of equal parts Blaufränkisch and Cabernet Sauvignon, is characterised by its growth on a soil of shell limestone and clay. A 30-month maturation phase in used barrique barrels gives the wine a pronounced depth of flavour. Sealed with a screw cap, the Urbani retains its quality and can be stored until 2026.
Tasting NoteLight purple in the glass. Fruity nose of ripe cherries and sour cherries. Juicy, spicy, light, earthy, dark chocolate on the palate. Long lasting finish.
