The Platzer winery is located in the picturesque Styrian Vulkanland, a region known for its exceptional wines and fascinating landscape. Nestled in rolling hills and surrounded by volcanic soils, the winery offers ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes. The vineyards are all located in the immediate vicinity of the winery and, together with partners, cover an area of 35 hectares. The most important sites include Aunberg, Königsberg, Klöchberg and the Stradner Rosenberg. The vines are intensively cared for throughout the growing season to ensure the highest quality and a distinctive character of origin. Special emphasis is placed on sustainable viticulture in order to conserve natural resources.
For over 40 years, the winery has operated a bottle washing plant and actively promotes the reuse of bottles in order to make a contribution to environmental protection.
Platzer Welschriesling Klassik is classically matured in steel tanks, which preserves its freshness and clarity. The screw cap ensures that its quality is preserved. With a storage potential until 2025, Platzer Welschriesling can develop its flavours optimally.
