Casa Paladin is a well-known Italian winery in the Veneto region, more precisely in the DOCG area of Valpolicella. The winery has a rich history dating back to the 1960s, when Carlo Paladin founded it.

The winemaking philosophy at Casa Paladin is to combine tradition with modern techniques to produce wines that express the unique terroir of the region. The winery uses a combination of traditional methods and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the quality and consistency of its wines.

This very aristocratic sparkling wine, an expression of elegance and verve, revives the magic of a past custom, the ‘Filò’, i.e. the after-dinner parlour conversation. It is a fascinating wine, the result of an original cuvée.

– 92/100 points at I Migliori Vini Italiani di Luca Maroni 2023

Tasting NoteRuby red with cherry-red accents in the glass. A fine perlage and pink foam follow. Floral and fresh notes on the nose with red fruit and wild roses. The palate is fresh to cheerful, sensual and pleasantly endearing at the end. Long and persistent on the finish.

This Paladin is an excellent accompaniment to dry pastries, shortcrust pastries with fruit and strawberries, and ham with melon.

It is best enjoyed in summer as a companion in the garden and by the boat.
