Olmeca Tequila Gold is a traditional tequila from Mexico, produced in Los Altos de Jalisco, one of the country’s most important tequila-producing regions. It is based on the blue Weber agave, characteristic of tequila, the processing of which shapes the spirit’s distinctive character. The name Olmeca refers to the pre-Columbian Olmec civilisation, whose historical symbolism is also reflected in the striking bottle design. The term ‘Gold’ does not refer to a specific degree of purity, but rather to the golden colour of this bottling. Olmeca Gold combines the typical character of roasted agave with sweet and spicy notes, setting it apart from the clear Blanco style. Produced in Jalisco, it combines traditional Mexican agave processing with modern production methods, making Olmeca Gold Tequila one of the brand’s internationally renowned expressions.
