The Oban 14 Years Old Single Malt Whisky 43% is one of the world-famous Classic Malts of Scotland and uniquely combines the characteristics of the western Highlands with the maritime influence of the Scottish coast. The distillery is located just a few steps from the sea, which gives the whisky a natural saltiness and subtle sea flavours. The first impression is traditionally described as smoky and spicy, before the typical coastal notes assert themselves over time. Maturation for 14 years in selected oak casks gives the whisky a balanced structure that harmoniously combines delicate peat nuances, subtle fruit accents and mineral notes.
