Monkey Shoulder The Original Blended Malt Batch 27 is an exceptional Scottish blended malt whisky made from three premium single malts from the Speyside region. The distilleries Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie provide the distillates, which are matured in first-fill bourbon casks and then combined to create a harmonious whisky.
Monkey Shoulder was specially developed for modern whisky enjoyment and impresses with its soft, accessible texture and fruity, spicy flavour. The name “Monkey Shoulder” goes back to an old tradition of maltsters who suffered a typical shoulder injury from their work with malt shovels.
With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, this whisky offers a smooth, sweet yet complex flavour experience – perfect for cocktails or pure enjoyment.
