£93.58
Moët & Chandon Champagne N.I.R. Dry Rosé Sec Luminous Edition, 12% vol., in a 0.75 l bottle, is one of the most exceptional champagne creations from the House of Moët & Chandon. The abbreviation N.I.R. stands for Nectar Impérial Rosé and was introduced in 2015 as a modern and innovative interpretation of a fruit-forward rosé champagne. Much like the famous Ice Impérial, this champagne was also developed specifically for a contemporary and uncomplicated style of enjoyment. The exclusive Luminous Edition is particularly sought-after; its bottle features an integrated lighting mechanism and is spectacularly illuminated at the touch of a button.
The cuvée consists of 45–55% Pinot Noir, 35–45% Pinot Meunier and 5–10% Chardonnay. Pinot Noir lends the champagne its intense fruitiness and structure, Pinot Meunier provides body and smoothness, whilst Chardonnay contributes freshness and elegance. The N.I.R. Rosé has been deliberately given a higher dosage to create a particularly smooth, fruity and expressive style. This makes it suitable both for traditional enjoyment and excellent for serving over ice. With an alcohol content of 12% vol., this French rosé champagne combines modern lifestyle culture, an exclusive appearance and unmistakable enjoyment of the highest calibre.
Tasting NoteIn the glass, the Moët & Chandon N.I.R. Dry Rosé Luminous Edition displays a luminous rosé colour with delicate coppery highlights and a lively perlage. On the nose, intense aromas of red berries, strawberries, raspberries and exotic fruits unfold. On the palate, the cuvée is full-bodied, smooth and fruit-forward, with juicy berry notes, subtle spice and harmonious freshness. The balanced combination of fruit sweetness and lively acidity ensures a well-rounded and expressive tasting experience. The finish is smooth, fruity and pleasantly long-lasting.
The Moët & Chandon N.I.R. Dry Rosé Luminous Edition is ideal as an exclusive aperitif and is delightful both on its own and over ice. It pairs excellently with fruity desserts, exotic fruits, Asian dishes, prawns or spicy starters. The illuminated bottle makes for a spectacular display, particularly at events, club nights and festive occasions. Served well chilled at 6–8 °C or over ice, this rosé champagne reveals its intense fruitiness and modern character to the full.
