Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial was created by former cellar master Benoît Gouez. The blend consists of 40–50% Pinot Noir, 30–40% Pinot Meunier and 10–20% Chardonnay. Pinot Noir lends structure and intense fruitiness, Pinot Meunier provides body and smoothness, whilst Chardonnay is responsible for freshness and vibrancy. The cuvée is complemented by carefully selected reserve wines, which add further complexity and intensity. With a dosage of 45 g/l, this Demi-Sec Champagne has been specially designed to be enjoyed on ice. The impressive 3-litre Jeroboam bottle, presented in a high-quality wooden case, makes this edition a spectacular centrepiece at exclusive events, summer parties and special celebrations.
Tasting NoteIn the glass, Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial displays an intense golden colour with amber highlights and a lively perlage. On the nose, exotic fruits such as mango and guava unfold, accompanied by notes of stone fruit and subtle hints of red berries. On the palate, the cuvée is generous, full-bodied and fruit-forward, with notes of fresh fruit salad, caramel and quince jelly, as well as a harmonious freshness of grapefruit and Ingwerer. The finish is smooth, intense and pleasantly long-lasting.
Residual sugar: 45 g/l
Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial reveals its full potential when served over ice and can also be enhanced with strawberries, raspberries, mint leaves, thin slices of ginger, cucumber or zest of lime and white grapefruit. It pairs superbly with light fish dishes, seafood, summer salads, exotic fruit desserts or Asian cuisine. This French champagne is particularly impressive on warm summer days, at pool parties, garden parties or exclusive events, thanks to its modern and refreshing style. It is best served well chilled at 6–8 °C and over ice.
