Maestro mezcalero Leonel Hernández focuses on the motto “fruit instead of meat” and creatively reinterprets the traditional pechuga method. Instead of a chicken breast, he uses agave hearts during the distillation process and hangs an exquisite fruit cocktail of bananas, apples, peaches and oranges in the still. This special technique gives the mezcal its unique fruit flavours.
Produced in the traditional region of Oaxaca, Local Mezcal is based on the high-quality Espadín agave (A. Angustifolia), which is prized for its multi-faceted flavours and exceptional quality.
