This blended malt combines carefully matured Japanese malts with selected whiskies distilled in Scotland to create a complex yet approachable flavour profile. Maturation in oak casks gives the whisky its characteristic blend of fruity, spicy and slightly smoky notes. This Japanese blended malt whisky is an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate or mild goat’s cheese. It is also perfect as an accompaniment to Japanese dishes such as grilled yakitori or sushi with smoked fish. For a modern twist, it can be used as the base for a whisky highball with Sodawasser and lemon zest to emphasise its fruity and malty notes.
