The Mackmyra Limousin is an exquisite bottling from the Swedish distillery Mackmyra, known for its innovative approach to whisky. This edition combines Scandinavian whisky craftsmanship with luxurious maturation in French Limousin oak casks previously topped with the finest Pineau des Charentes, a fine liqueur wine from France.
Maturing in Limousin oak gives this Swedish single malt an exceptionally elegant, fruity and spicy character. In addition to this barrel maturation, other Swedish oak barrels and ex-bourbon barrels are used, resulting in a multi-layered flavour profile. With an alcohol content of 46.1% vol., the whisky remains unchill filtered to preserve its natural depth and complexity.
The elegant gift box (GB) emphasises the premium character of this whisky and makes it an excellent choice for connoisseurs and collectors.

Nose: Sweet and fruity with notes of red berries, grapes, vanilla and slightly spicy oak.
Flavour: Full-bodied and complex with nuances of caramel, dried fruit, honey, orange peel and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Long-lasting, warm and harmonious with a perfect balance of fruitiness, spice and fine wood notes.
Mackmyra Limousin is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to emphasise the complexity of its cask maturation. It harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, caramelised nuts or mature cheese. It also offers an excellent flavour experience as an accompaniment to a dessert with berries or a high-quality cigar.
