The Mackmyra Fusion bottling is an exciting combination of the Scandinavian art of distillation and wine casks full of character.
A special cask combination was chosen for this Mackmyra single malt whisky. It was matured in Amarone wine casks and so-called Rotspon wine casks. The term Rotspon is a historical German term for red cask wine and traditionally refers to red wine that was transported or stored in barrels. This unusual cask combination gives the Mackmyra Fusion Whisky an intense flavour with pronounced fruity notes and an elegant wine character. This limited edition Swedish whisky is bottled at 47.3% vol., non-chill-filtered and without the addition of colouring agents, which fully preserves the natural character of the whisky.
