The Loch Lomond Signature Blended Scotch Whisky is a harmonious and expressive blend from the traditional Loch Lomond Distillery. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box (UK), this whisky is a successful combination of craftsmanship, cask maturation and regional character.
Selected malt and grain whiskies are blended together for the signature blend and then matured in a Solera system – a method that is primarily known from sherry production. This process gives the whisky additional depth, a smooth texture and a balance of flavour that sets it apart from classic blends. Maturation takes place in American oak casks, which harmoniously combines flavours of vanilla, honey, fruit and a fine spiciness.
