This limited edition special bottling matured for 25 years and was released in an exclusive gift box in 2019. It impressively embodies the connection between traditional craftsmanship, Islay terroir and the unique personality to which it is dedicated.
The whisky was bottled at 43% alcohol by volume and comes from a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, giving it both depth and elegant balance. The long maturation brings the characteristic smokiness of Laphroaig into a harmonious balance with sweet, nutty and fruity notes. As is usual with Laphroaig, the bottling is not chill-filtered to preserve the natural structure and texture.
