Langlois Crémant de Loire Brut Réserve 12,5% Vol. 0,75l
£20.70
Langlois Crémant de Loire Brut is a high-quality sparkling wine from the traditional Langlois-Château house, which has been part of the renowned Bollinger Group since 1973. This elegant crémant is produced in the Crémant de Loire appellation in the heart of the Loire Valley – one of the best regions in France for fine sparkling wines produced according to the Méthode Traditionnelle, i.e. like Champagne.
The cuvée consists of the Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc grape varieties – a combination that guarantees freshness, structure and aromatic complexity. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the crémant matures for at least 12 months on the lees in the bottle, which gives it its fine mousse and complex flavour structure. With an alcohol content of 12.5 % vol., classically dry (brut) and sealed with a natural cork, this sparkling wine offers an excellent price-pleasure ratio and is a stylish alternative to champagne.
Tasting NoteThe Langlois Crémant de Loire Brut has a clear, light golden yellow colour in the glass with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it develops aromas of white flowers, green apple, ripe pear and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the Crémant is fresh, harmonious and elegant, with a finely balanced acidity, delicate citrus notes and a dry, mineral finish that makes you want to savour the next sip.
This Crémant Brut is a versatile all-rounder – perfect as an aperitif, but also as an accompaniment to oysters, goat’s cheese, smoked salmon, light fish dishes, canapés or summer picnics. It is ideal for festive occasions, receptions, weddings or as a stylish gift. Serve at 6-8 °C in a champagne glass or white wine glass for maximum flavour and mousseux.
