Lackner Tinnacher Welschriesling Südsteiermark DAC 2023 12% Vol. 0,75l
£13.43
The Lackner Tinnacher winery is a family business that has been producing wine since 1770. The vines grow in six different vineyards in beautiful Styria. Wilma and Fritz Tinnacher have been running the winery for 30 years, and in 2013 it was taken over by their daughter Katharina Tinnacher.
The high quality of the wines is the result of generations of experience.
Lackner Tinnacher Welschriesling is made exclusively from carefully hand-picked, fully ripe Welschriesling grapes. After hand-picking, the whole grapes are gently pressed, with the juice running into the wine cellar by gravity. There, spontaneous fermentation began in steel tanks, after which the Welschriesling matured in the cellar for five months. Natural acid reduction following fermentation gives the Welschriesling its special balance and harmony. After the maturation phase, it is bottled and sealed with a natural cork. This Lackner Tinnacher Welschriesling is characterised by its ageing potential until 2027.
Tasting NoteBrilliant clear straw yellow with green reflections in the glass. Spicy notes on the nose, accompanied by ripe yellow apples, citrus zest and fresh meadow herbs. Balanced, juicy and lively on the palate with harmonious acidity and notes of yellow apples, nuts and meadow herbs. Long and persistent on the finish.
Residual sugar: 2.2 g/l
Acidity: 5.6 g/l
Drinking temperature: 8-10 °C
Enjoy this Welschriesling as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a picnic.
