The Kensei Blended Japanese Whisky is a harmonious composition with a strong character that is produced in Japan with great care and traditional craftsmanship. The name “Kensei” means “sword saint” in Japanese – an honourable title bestowed only on the greatest Samurai. This association with honour, discipline and mastery is also reflected in the style of this Japanese blended whisky: fine, balanced and yet distinctive.
Selected whiskies from various Japanese distilleries are used for the blend, which are matured in small American oak barrels. The whisky is stored in a traditional warehouse near the coast, giving it a subtle maritime freshness.
