The Isle of Raasay distillery presents a special red wine finish single malt whisky that will delight lovers of exceptional flavours. This single malt has matured its entire life in carefully selected first-fill ex-Bordeaux red wine casks, which give it an unmistakable depth of flavour. Maturing in these casks allows the whisky to develop complex notes of dried fruit, accompanied by a warming spiciness that creates a harmonious and rich flavour profile.
In addition, the whisky is finished with pure water from the Isle of Raasay distillery’s own well, which further intensifies its natural flavours. Thanks to this elaborate maturation process and the special choice of cask, a single malt is created that perfectly integrates the influences of the red wine and offers an exceptional drinking experience.
