Iron Maiden Light Brigade joins the official beer range by the successful metal band. British rock legends worked with Robinson’s independent family brewery to create this golden English ale. They have joined forces to support the British charity “Help for Heroes” who provide aid for the Armed Forces community whose lives are affected by their service.
Martyn Weeks and Bruce Dickinson work in the team
Like with the original Iron Maiden Trooper Beer, brew master Martyn Weeks and Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson worked as a team to create this drink. The final and successful tasting happened at Help for Friends at the Tedworth House Recovery Center in Wiltshire.
A golden ale with the typical trooper elements
Bruce Dickinson was an instructor in several flying heroes’ flight simulators and is well acquainted with the charitable work of Help for Heroes. The fact that he can now get involved with the charity fills him with pride. Light Brigade is Iron Maidens’ interpretation of a golden ale and has the typical trooper elements of strength and character. A successful beer that will not only impress fans of the band.
Mascot Eddie in a Light Brigade Uniform
Iron Maiden Light Brigade will be available in the long run unlike the band’s other beers. On the bottle label is also the iconic mascot Eddie, who comes along on horseback in one of the light brigade uniforms.
