After years of training in Europe and California, Hillinger bought 12 hectares of vineyards, laying the foundations for his successful winery in Jois, which opened in 2004. The company expanded to include several wine shops and bars throughout Austria and a long-standing business relationship with the Constantia Glen winery in South Africa. In 2012, Hillinger was honoured by Ernst & Young as “Entrepreneur of The Year”, underlining its outstanding role in the wine industry.

Hillinger Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir is a white wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are pressed immediately after the harvest and the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 13-15 °C. The wine is then aged for 2 months. The wine then matures for 2 months on the fine lees. The bottle is sealed with a screw cap and can be stored for up to 2 years.

Tasting NotePale straw yellow with green reflections in the glass. Fragrant notes of redcurrant, red berries and citrus fruit on the nose. Complex and fresh on the palate, with vegetal and fruity flavours. Long-lasting and animating on the finish.
