After years of training in Europe and California, Hillinger bought 12 hectares of vineyards, laying the foundations for his successful winery in Jois, which opened in 2004. The company expanded to include several wine shops and bars throughout Austria and a long-standing business relationship with the Constantia Glen winery in South Africa. In 2012, Hillinger was honoured by Ernst & Young as “Entrepreneur of The Year”, underlining its outstanding role in the wine industry.

Hillinger Hill Angel Rosé is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. After pressing, it undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 16°C and is then aged on the fine lees for two months. This gives it its characteristic and fruity profile. The rosé has a storage potential of up to two years and is sealed with a natural cork.
