Highland Park Distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the oldest and most renowned whisky distilleries in Scotland. It is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland, making it the most northerly distillery in Scotland. Surrounded by rugged nature and stormy seas, Highland Park’s whisky reflects the unique climatic conditions of the Orkney Islands. Today, the distillery belongs to The Edrington Group and produces around 2.5 million litres of whisky every year.
Highland Park 11 Years Old Austria Edition is an exquisite single malt that was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2021 after 11 years of maturation. With a powerful alcohol content of 63.6%, this whisky impresses with its multi-layered depth and complexity. It is matured in a refill hogshead cask (number 4860), which gives the whisky its distinctive and characterful profile.
This exclusive bottling was produced especially for the German market and is limited to just 309 bottles, making it a coveted collector’s item for connoisseurs and collectors.
