The Helios Whisky REKI Blended Whisky is a fascinating Japanese bottling produced by the renowned Helios Distillery on the subtropical island of Okinawa. This distillery, originally known for its high-quality rums, has created an elegant and multi-layered drop that reflects the essence of Japan with REKI Blended Whisky. The name “Reki” means “experience” or “history” and emphasises the traditional craftsmanship that goes into this whisky.
This whisky is composed of carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks and characterised by Okinawa’s unique climate. The humid, warm sea air accelerates the maturation process and gives the REKI whisky a smooth texture with harmonious flavours. With 43% alcohol by volume, it offers a balanced combination of fruitiness, spiciness and a fine woody note, making it the perfect companion for special moments of enjoyment.
