Grace O’Malley Irish Pirate Queen Whiskey Dark Char Cask is an Irish whiskey with a strong character that combines the traditional Irish art of distillation with targeted cask finishing. The carefully composed blend combines double and triple distilled whiskeys of different ages from the parent distillery, with individual components matured for up to ten years. The whiskey is first matured in selected barrels before being matured for a further three months in heavily charred oak barrels of char level 4. This intensive charring gives the whiskey additional depth, structure and an elegant smokiness without masking the Irish style.
