Glenglassaugh Distillery, a prestigious Scotch whisky distillery, is picturesquely located near Portsoy in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Its location along the coastline of the Moray Firth not only offers breathtaking views of the North Sea, but also characterises the unique character of its whisky. The distillery’s history stretches back to its foundation in 1875 and since then Glenglassaugh has developed a rich tradition of craftsmanship and distilling high-quality single malt whiskies that are appreciated by connoisseurs around the world.
Glenglassaugh’s Coastal Cask Series celebrates the relaunch of the distillery in 2008 and presents an exclusive collection of ten casks that perfectly capture the rich coastal character of the whisky. Each bottling comes from a cask distilled immediately after the reopening of the distillery. Truly unique, they are not chill-filtered, are available as single cask bottlings and are individually hand-numbered.
