Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is part of the renowned Experimental Series and exemplifies the innovative spirit of the traditional Glenfiddich distillery from Speyside. This bottling deliberately combines contrasts and focuses on the exciting interplay of smoky and sweet elements. It is based on both peated single malts and classic Glenfiddich malts, which were initially matured in bourbon casks. The whisky was then given an exceptional finish in Latin American rum casks, which gives the distillate additional aromatic depth and a distinctive sweetness.
With this approach, the Malt Master deliberately challenges the traditional boundaries of whisky production and creates a modern single malt that harmoniously combines smoke, fruit and sweetness. At 43% vol., the Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is balanced, accessible and yet full of character. The combination of campfire smoke, toffee notes and fresh fruitiness makes this bottling a unique representative within the Glenfiddich range.
