Description
One famous surname, five generations. Glenfarclas Distillery is a family business in the truest sense of the word.
The whisky distillery is located in Ballindalloch, Scotland and has been owned by the Grant’s family since 1865.
The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is a cask strength bottling.
The whisky has an original cask strength of 63.5 per cent by volume, whereby the alcohol content is reduced to 60 per cent by volume after 8 to 10 years due to the ‘Angel’s Share’.
It is matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The name of the single malt “105” refers to its alcohol content in British Proof.
