Four Roses Bourbon is one of the best-known and most popular bourbon whiskies in the world and has stood for Kentucky quality and tradition for over a century. This straight bourbon is characterised by its mild flavour, which is defined by sweet caramel notes and subtle spicy aromas. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., it offers a well-balanced strength that makes it versatile for drinking both neat and in cocktails.
Its recipe is based on a high proportion of maize, which ensures its mildness, whilst the rye contributes the spicy notes. After distillation, Four Roses Bourbon is matured in accordance with the strict guidelines for straight bourbon in new, charred American white oak casks. It is aged there for between 5 and 12 years, during which time it develops its complex bouquet and smooth balance.
