The Filliers distillery, which originally served as a sideline to the Filliers family’s farming business, has developed into an established company with three active distilleries where ox stables once stood. Over six generations, the craftsmanship has been constantly refined, resulting in a successful integration of tradition and modern technology.
The Filliers Distillery’s single malt whisky is known as the oldest whisky in Belgium, which is matured exclusively in European oak sherry casks. These casks allow the whisky to mature for at least ten years, during which time they give the whisky its characteristic flavours. The production of the whisky represents a combination of patience and craftsmanship, resulting in a product that is recognised for its quality.
