Produced by Douglas Laing, a renowned independent bottler with decades of experience, The Epicurean is made exclusively from hand-picked single malts from the Lowlands. This region is known for its particularly smooth and elegant whiskies, which are characterised by fruity, floral and malty notes. Thanks to the bottling at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration and without colouring, this whisky retains its authentic character.
Tasting Note
Colour: Light gold with straw-yellow reflections.
Nose: Fresh and aromatic with notes of lemon zest, green apple, vanilla and fine herbs.
Flavour: Light and elegant with a fine balance of sweet barley, citrus fruits, white grapes and a subtle spiciness of oak.
Finish: Medium length, dry and slightly spicy with nuances of Ingwerer, honey and white pepper.
