Description
Douglas Laing Provenance Blair Athol 12 Years Old Single Cask Malt 2007 46% Vol. 0.7 l + GB – an exquisite Highland single malt whisky that develops exceptional depth and complexity through its complete maturation in a sherry butt. As part of Douglas Laing’s renowned Provenance series, this limited bottling stands for the highest quality and unadulterated enjoyment.
This whisky was distilled in July 2007 and matured for 12 years in a sherry butt before being bottled in August 2019 in just 439 bottles. It was bottled without chill-filtration and without colouring, allowing it to retain its natural colour and variety of flavours. The ageing in sherry casks gives it an elegant sweetness, intense fruity flavours and a harmonious balance between spicy and nutty nuances.
